All is well

So the first night went well, especially because they kept Livia in the maternity ward and we could sleep in a private room. Of course Anna had a lot of pain during the night which meant both of us didn't sleep much.

Livia came to us at 530am and stayed with us until 7am. She had a doctor check her out, had a poo, pee and her first bath all without us!

Mia got to meet her new sister this morning and loved looking at her and holding her especially after Livia gave her some presents.

Now she is sleeping and we are resting. More pics and videos to come soon.

Glad to hear that all are well. Wow what a head of hear Livia has!! So dark too! I think that the picture of her with the bonnet and her eyes slightly open looks alot like Mia. Hopefully the night off gave you guys a nice rest and didn't cause a slow start to breast feeding...if that's what you're doing of course. Thanks for sharing the pictures and videos..how fabulous, a natural labour with no drugs, lasting only 2 hours. Doesn't get much better than that! (At least from my perspective.) I know that wasn't what you had in mind Anna, but its a much better start to recouping without the drugs! Hope you heal quickly and that the adjustment is smooth!! Janelle

I'm sooo happy for ya'll. I'm happy to hear that Mia just loves Livia. At least she didn't say anything like I did when my sister was born.

Great to read the news that your second daughter Livia has not arrived! Congratulations to you becoming parents for the second time and to Mia for gaining a sister. It's lovely to see her looking at her little sister curiously. Hope you recover from the labour - quickly!
All the very best,
Sara, Sasha and Lidija
